OUR BIKE FIT SERVICE

Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.

The most important thing to get right when looking to optimise your performance on a bike, is the correct bike fit.

Where to begin?

For any bike fit system to work correctly, you need to be able to take accurate measurements of your body. To do this, we recommend you enlist the help of a friend who can measure and record those parts of the body that are essential to getting the perfect fitting bike.

Have the right tools

The tools required for recording accurate measurements are not specialised. You will simply need a tape measure, a pen, and a level or hardback book. Your assistant will then be able to help you take the measurements of everything ranging from your height and inseam to your arm length, shoulder width, trunk, forearm, and lower leg length.

Bike Fit calculator data input

Once you have recorded all the required measurements, you can input the data directly into the form below and we will then contact you to arrange your bike fitting.

In your socks or bare feet, stand with your heels and buttocks against the wall and your feet 8" apart. Set a level or hardback book on your head making sure the book is flush against the wall or that you have leveled the level and measure from the ground to the bottom of the book or level.
In your socks or bare feet, stand with your heels and buttocks against the wall and your feet 8" apart. Find the notch at the top of your ribcage/ bottom of your neck. Measure from the ground to the bottom of the sternum notch.
In socks or bare feet, stand with your feet 8” apart. Take a level approximately 2ft long and put it between your legs. Pull the level up with the same pressure you feel when sitting on a saddle, approximately 25lbs of pressure, and have your helper level the level and measure from the ground to the top. A second option is to stand against a wall and place a large book with a 1" binding between your legs and firmly against the wall so that the book is at a right angle. Pull the book up against your pelvic bone with saddle pressure, approximately 25lbs, and measure from the top edge of the book to the floor. Please note: inseam length is NOT the same as trouser length. Your trouser length is typically 1.5-2.5 inches shorter.
Standing with a pen in your hand make a fist with the pen coming out the bottom of your fist. Stick your arm out to the side parallel to the ground and measure from your armpit touching your ribs firmly to the centerline of the pen. (Approx. 1/3rd behind where you fingers join your palm).
Measure your shoulder width by the outside of the bony protrusions at the top of your shoulders. You want to have the tape measure running in a straight line and not wrapping around your back.
In your socks or bare feet, stand with your feet 8" apart and your knees locked. Bend over and see how far you can stretch based on the chart below. Please note: to take this measurement properly you want to be warmed up like you would be when riding your bike.
For this measurements you need to be seated with your back pressed firmly against an upright surface such as a wall. Trunk length is measured from the seat you are sat on to the top of your shoulder with you sitting fully upright.
With a pen in your hand make a fist with the pen coming out the bottom of the fist like in the arm length measurement. Put your elbow against the wall and measure from the wall to the center of the pen.
For this measurement you need to be seated in your socks or bare feet. Bend your lower leg backwards to find the top of the fibula bone on the outside top of your calf muscle. Once you locate the bone move your hand around to the top of this bone. From here adjust your lower leg verticle and measure the top of your fibula bone to the ground. Repeat on other leg and take the average.
